The shoes belong to some cheap college student who can’t afford real beer.

I believe those are MY shoes, keys, medal, and beer. Notice the Ford Taurus Station Wagon Key (to the Silver Sex Machine), as well as the Dirty Dicks Crab Shack bottle opener. That’s what OCC was all about.
This photo was taken in Paul’s basement circa 1999 I would say.
