Punjabi Word of the Day: Panga

Pronunciation: pun-GA
Function: noun, verb
Usage: See below
1 : Risk.
2 : To stir up problems.
3 : To mess with something that probably doesn’t need to be messed with(something I do entirely too often).
4 : To start drama.

Usage:

1 : Hey baby, panga is my middle name.
2 : Why do stupid people like to start panga all the time?
3 : “….you’re the one who panga-ed with my clock!”
4 : Paul says, “Don’t start panga with me, I will destroy you.”

Thanks to Gunjan/Neera for correcting usage 1/2.
Thanks to Sukhi for that 3rd usage– I swear I didn’t make that up. She actually said that.

Hah. People will say anything to get on my blog these days.

On a side note: Neera says “Oh and for the record I dont think you do panga too often. I think it just comes to you.” Hah. I am not sure how to respond to that.

Neera = Walking/Talking Punjabi dictionary.

Gunjan/Paul = Coconuts.
