What’s your name again?
The Chief Minister of Delhi Sheila Dixit announced today that the capital of the country will change its name back to what it was in the pre-colonial-pre-mughal-pre-sultan-pre-everything-else-except-Mahabharat days. However there is no consensus on the exact name that should be chosen.

Hmm… been a while since I had something to comment about..
WTF?
That pretty much sums it up but.. umm if you still have issues about the name of a city and think the name is a shame to citizens of the city.. why not address the recent issues of corruption in parliament ? Yea, the 14 MP’s taking bribes just to ask questions in session ? What does that make you feel like ? Like your leaders are corrupt morons ?
But, anyway.. we’re indians.. we can multitask right ? We can address both issues at the same time.. so lets leave that thread on it’s own. Correct me if I’m wrong.. but Indraprastha is a mythical city.. and Hastinapur is definitely not the oldest city.. I dunno.. Ayodhya comes to mind.. but we won’t get into moving capitals.. and obvious racial undertones.. but anyway..
Delhi was named after a king; Dhillu.. why can’t we just use that ? God damned moronic politicians.. seriously.. screw that I said we can multitask.. this should be a low priority task.. Does changing names make people more literate ? Does changing names address the affirmative action crap ? Does it make all the religious baggage go away ? No.. stop wasting money.
