Better pay them bills
In what is becoming a common practice among companies that issue monthly bills, Verizon has begun to furnish customer payment history, good or bad, to credit reporting agencies.
I suppose this is good for those of us that need a little more history on our credit reports and such. I just worry that it’s just another thing on your credit that can be erroneously reported.
Personal tip: If you haven’t already, you should be downloading a free copy of your credit report from all 3 agencies. Check it out at AnnualCreditReport.com as soon as you can. Even if you’re not worried about any misreported things on there, I think it really helps you get in focus with your long term financial goals as well.
